Meet Image Factor’s PR Director Tara Sillery.
I started off my fashion career working alongside International Couture designer Mr Christian Lacroix on a project in Dubai. I also had the pleasure of working with Mrs Andrée Putman (Parisian designer), whom is still a client.
Current portfolio of clients includes many recognised, as well as local up and coming artists and designers from Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, London Paris and LA. Scope of tasks include brokerage facilitating, ensuring correct press and TV coverage is achieved, event and fashion show organisation, marketing materials and updating of all social media platforms.
As well as the above, am an active fashion blogger in the Middle East and have an extensive network of beauty and fashion editors/TV networks as well as VIP clients and socialites worldwide. I have also participated in shows aired on Dubai One TV network and have been featured in many publications.
My main function in the Kuwaiti market, in addition to expanding client database was to set up and develop a new fashion concept boutique. This included developing and implementing the business plan (business development, start up, budgets, market research, staffing plans, marketing and PR), as well as all branding for the new business. I am the owner of a new Public Relations company in Kuwait “PR Passion” and now run most of my business activities from Kuwait, Dubai and Europe.
In addition to the above, I am PR Director for Image Factor which is an internationally recognised styling and shopping company based in London and Dubai. I am also fashion editor for a new online magazinewww.arabwomennow.com and we are soon going to be launching Arab Men Now.
Having a strong grasp of the fashion industry as well as enviable connections in the region and all fashion capitals, my passion for fashion is my unique gift. My background in fashion and commercial consulting brings a wealth of experience to designers wishing to build a retail proposition in the Middle East
